Montreal Fashion Week – Day 3, part 1

After 2 days of non-stop fashion photography, I was feeling pretty tired and I was hurting everywhere (my back, ahhhh!), but the motivation got me up as well as the fact that I was going to spend a 3rd day in a row with my dear friend Emilie (which had not happened since we were at boarding school together like 10 years ago!).

So, we started out at a wonderful event called Couture Xpress, which was offsite at the LAB Créatif. It’s about 10 designers who have 1 hour to design a new outfit using old clothing under the sounds of a DJ, as well as hair and makeup by other profesionnals. Stress, creativity, recycling, loved it!!

Then it was back on site for a launch of a new all Montreal made magazine, Dress to KILL. It’s a free mag available all over town, in both French and English (but not translated: texts are only once in one language). There are fabulous photoshoots in there, lovin’ it!!

At 6pm, runway shows started with Clau & Vane.
