Cardscape

I had bookmarked these a while back.

It’s a pretty Cardscape desktop mail organiser, by Oliviera Rosa, that you assemble yourself using cute figured metal clips and paper buildings. A little world you can modify to your mood, how often does that happen in a life, right? :)

Fold it up

Linen. Yum.

Folds. Yum yum.

Handmade. Yum yum yum.

I adore the work of yorktownroad! In fact, one of her bags was part of one of the insipiration boards I made recently. Simple, gorgeous, texturized, well made and accessible prices, too.

WANT everything! lol

Material Fusion

Mixing textures and materials in sometimes unexpected ways, that’s part of what I love to do! And I love to see others do it as well.

Therefore, I adore seeing Nesting Emily, from Ontario, work the materials together with aesthetics. Adding felt and yarn to her beautiful simply carved pottery, she gives her pieces a uniqueness that everyone notices.

Want more? Check out her Flickr! (That’s where I found out about her work!!)

Terrarium for sale

I found myself not able to stop putting pictures in here for this post! I just love terrariums, they seem so pretty and peaceful and from simply another world.

I’m planning on doing some terrariums for myself soon (try to, at the very least), with moss, in tiny glass candle jars (I’m addicted to ajscountrycottage’s candles!! They actually smell a lot (love that!) and she has many fruity scents (I prefer fruity!)). The little jars are perfect for tiny worlds! Plus, I don’t want to reuse them only for bead storage, they are too cute (lol!).

With that said, if you don’t wanna try it yourself, but want a precious greenery, have a look at TheOakLeaves‘ shop! She offers plenty of already stable terrariums (a few months old), all tiny and all mossy. She has sold 12 of them in 2 months, so go choose yours now!

(The shop indicates shipping to the US only, but perhaps by asking it could be done in Canada? Try it, we never know!)

Looooooving these glass milk bottles from Three Potato Four! Simple, yet the number really gives a modern twist on this classic!

Plus, the packaging looks just wonderful and well thought out, as seen via } Poppytalk!

{ Shoe Lust }

I saw these shoes 2 weeks ago in a Montreal store, and they hadn’t my size. I saw them again this weekend somewhere else, and by the time we had finished eating, the store was closed.

Oh pretty Bamboo mustardy shoes (they look more mustard in real life!), why are you hiding from me!?

Sold online via Cutesy Girl, $30. Also available in black, pink and green.

Hairline Porcelain

In graphic design, “hairline” means a really thin line. Totally what came to my mind when I saw these pieces from Bailey Doesn’t Bark.

Blacks and reds handpainted motifs pop out of slick porcelain pieces. What I love also are the themes, like “Shhh”, which comes from the fascination with the positions in which people manage to sleep in when completely knackered.

But, she just ships to the US right now (awwwwww) . Hopefully this will change in the future so her talen will reach everywhere in the world! :)

She ships international, you just have to contact her first for a shipping quote: which is exactly what I did for myself! I’ll receive soon the 1st item in this post, YAY!.

Folie à Deux

Oh wow, this is soooooooo cool, I can’t stand it!

These gorgeous are called Folie à Deux, and are the beautiful designs of Rich-in-Craft. Out of handsewn wool, and polyurethane and glass anthler handles, this bag will be hard to find - only 36 will be made - and I have no clue where they will be!

Rich-in-Craft (I LOVE their website, so nicely made!) is a newly created L.A. company, because this is their first product. Woah! Can’t wait to see some more of their creative juice in the future!

Knitastic

This trim is just too HOT!

New Etsy seller AmandaSainsbury (4 days old shop!) spends hours in front of her machine, in the UK, to match up colors to create wonderful knitted pieces. It all results into wonderful super-textured items, and what about those gorgeous pictures, right?! Hard to resist!!

Italian Family Affair

Italian family members Lucia, Melissa, Lidia and Matteo all work together as a team under the name larimeloom to create wonderful wearable pieces.

All is 100% handmade, “starting from the cloth, handwoven on a four treadle loom, all the way trough the making, sewing and finishing of the product.” I would loooove to see what their work areas look like!

I am in love especially with their summery tops & dresses, which have a flowy-rustic feel. Everything can be custom made to your size (prices may vary) and color preference, they also ship everywhere in the world, so don’t hold back! :)

We ROCK! We’re also stupid.

We ROCK! The Habs destroyed Boston 5-0 on the ice last night, ending the Bruins hopes of going further towards the Stanley Cup!

We are also stupid.

Can’t believe those idiot fans!!! What’s the freakin’ point!!

They make normal people and fans look soooo bad, the whole city now looks bad, the whole French speaking community now looks bad, the whole province of Quebec now looks bad.

You idiots, damn, get a life.

(Oui oui!! haha)

I love recycled. You can find many eco discoveries on this blog, and I hope you enjoy them! I just wish Earth Day was everyday, right? :)

As for me, I make some envelopes to put jewelry sales at craft shows in them, with recycled magazine pages. People have had a wonderful response to them too! Most want to go thru them and choose their own, how fun!

Here are some I made a while back available at my NeaBlossoms shop: some sturdy envelopes made from a stock photography book’s pages! Veggies, anyone? lol
