New Stuff at Nea!

I’ve been working a lot since I started doing crafts full-time! I’ve had consignment requests and a craft fair coming up in October and just preparing for a hopefully very busy Holiday season! :)

I launched some new Wall Wear pieces in my Neawear shop a few weeks ago and just realized they were not shown yet on my own blog! Here they are!

I also worked on some new necklaces the past few days and weeks! I keep making necklaces these past weeks, like there is almost no place for earrings in my head right now!

Actually, it used to be the opposite! lol! I’ll get back to earrings soon, I promise :)

And for the crafters out there, I listed new supplies in my NeaBlossoms shop, mostly czech glass beads, but other great ones too! Need some? :)

My new Wall Wear is here!!!

Wall Wear - Starter Collection

Yesterday and this morning was the launch of my new home decor items in my Nea Shop, called Wall Wear! They are cross-stitch and embroidery pieces, framed in embroidery hoops (wooden new, vintage metal and wood). Some even feature metal flowers that I purchased originally for jewelry!

Feedback has been wonderful, I’m really appreciating all the wonderful comments on my Flickr and on Etsy!

And to top it all off, Grace from Design*Sponge featured some pieces this morning! How OMG-Too-Cool is that!! Thanks so much Grace!!!

Here’s a few pieces from the collection:

***
Many pieces already sold (YAY!), but please stay with me while I hand stitch some more this week and the followings! You can RSS my Nea Shop to be informed first of new items added, or check back often! :)
***

After making a few Wall Wear, I figured I needed a way to tie the knot between these decor pieces and my jewelry! So, I decided to do a mix of both and do some embroidery necklaces, just like this one:

I think it is a great idea! I had one of the necklaces on (not this one) while visiting a craft show 2 weeks ago, and the feedback was really great!

I could hardly wait to launch everything this week! It’s been an almost 3 months process for these items to be born (not full-time, of course), and I’m really happy of how it turned out!

What you all think? :)

Fold it up

Linen. Yum.

Folds. Yum yum.

Handmade. Yum yum yum.

I adore the work of yorktownroad! In fact, one of her bags was part of one of the insipiration boards I made recently. Simple, gorgeous, texturized, well made and accessible prices, too.

WANT everything! lol

Blockprinted Fabric

I recently discovered Etsy seller Jezze, from South Africa, who offers wonderful handmade blockprinted fabrics! Along with that, she offers a very detailed how-to using lino blocks on her blog about, well, how to do them!

I’m facinated by the method, which is actually somewhat simple! I love handprinted fabrics! Aren’t these wonderful??

I. Need. To. Learn. How. To. Sew… Presto! :)

Working Class Heroes } Mania!

Everyone in the online comminuty is buzzing about Vienna’s Working Class Heroes!

On Etsy alone, they are Featured Sellers (read the interview!), and are featured in like 50% of Treasury lists… Ok, maybe not 50%, but they are still there A LOT! And I love that!

I wont say I saw them first (lol!) because I did not, but I did favorite their shop a while ago, before the frenzy! Anyway, it doesn’t matter, they are soooo worth being talked about any day of the year! :)

I wish I had a laptop, so I could buy a laptop wallet.
I wish I had an iPod or iPhone to buy a pouch.
I wish I had expensive sunglasses, so I could buy an eyepouch.
I wish I had a compact camera, so I could buy a fotopouch.

Note the wonderful pictures and the gorgeous logo and image design… As a graphic designer, I’m totally in love!!
Also chekout their independant website.

I do have a camera, but it’s wayyyy not compact… Maybe I should ask them for a custom order of fotopouch for my RebelXT! Yeah… I think I’ll try that!! lol :)
