} B. Fiess

I am just in love with this ceramic find! B. Fiess‘ composition sculptures are great, but I have a soft spot for the utilitarian jars, which are shut close with cork and rubber.  So cool!!

Ceramik Break

Usually, ceramics are to be used gentily, orlooked at.

But at Studio Kahn (in Jerusalem), ceramic is to bemanipulated and broken before use. Yep! Don’t think you can use these pieceswithout breaking them first! Snap that necklace before you wear. Snap that salt and pepper shaker into two pieces so you can then actually use them!

How different and interactive and funnnnnnn! :D

99 Feelings

Did you know there are at least 99 feelings one can feel? I didn’t! We usually stop thinking after the happy-sad-angry-mad. lol!

A little while back, the super friendly Mitsy of ArtMind decided her next project would be to represent 99 feelings with her ceramic work. I had the joy of following every one, one by one, on her Flickr account.

Don’t you just want to bring them all home? Which one is your favorite? Tell me!! :)

Slowcraft

Yes, yes I am.

I am in pottery-addict-heaven-land when I visit the Slowcraft shop (aka Lisa Toni from Australia). My pulse rises, my eyes open wide, my mouse clicks in fury and I’m about to bounce and impulse buy.

What is even more torturing is her Flickr pictures. Because what you see there is not all available yet in her shop! Here’s a glimpse, below.

Man, am I in trouble…! :)

Krisatomic

How cute are these one of a kind handpainted plates, right? They have this fresh illustration style I’ve never seen before, love it!

Although you CAN eat on them, I would probably display them as wall art! Cause they are!!

Hop on over to Krisatomic (loooove the name!) to see more!

Bud Vases

These sculptural but functional vases, by Hawaii’s born and raised Ryan Takaba, are sure to get noticed! They have great texture, shape and color, as well as being easy to use! Take out the water vessel, add some water in it, put it back in and add your stem!
For now only US shipping is listed, but perhaps it’ll change one day! :)
