And yes, The Doors are playing as I write this! ;)

Leah Duncan, again!

I’ve blogged about her before, but I really CANNOT get enough of Leah Duncan‘s work!

A few weeks ago, I was at Buk&Nola, one of my consignment stores, to drop some of my jewelry (FYI, if ever you are in Montreal, DO VISIT this store, even if it’s torture for the wallet!), and noticed that Leah’s Rainfall print was there, my favorite. I do not know HOW, but I managed to leave without buying it (budget people, budget!).

Anyway! This week I was browsing Etsy (as always…) and stumbled upon Leah’s fabulous shop again! This time I noticed the tea towels, which would actually make wonderful wall art! LOVE!!!

This is starting to become an obsession………. lol! And to go with that, I just started following her on Twitter. *groupie* :)

Footed Wood

Who knew something as everyday as a cutting board could create lust in me? Well, Gray Works Design has done it!

Their Footed Plattes™ are earthy and they like to feature the wood in itself, letting it be what it’s supposed to be, in shape and color.

You can also find a few furniture pieces (tables, benches, stools) over there that you’ll adore!

Treat

Made out of recycled lampshades and yarn, these bowls from Camilla Halvorsen, called Treat, are exactly that: a treat for the eyes!

The yarn used is called Mirasol Yarn, and each ball purchase helps supports the Mirasol Project. Yep, you can make your home look good AND help out communities in Peru at the same time!

Maramiki

I found Maramiki on Etsy a few months back, and instantly fell in love with her hand-screenprinted fabrics!

And her items too, of course! Mostly pillow covers, but also pincushions and napkins, in blends of linen and cotton (some organic)!

So I spied (lol) and kept looking and wishing, when I finally decided to just go for it and buy a pack of remnants! What I received was a fabulous selection, exactly what I expected and wanted! Got me inspired instantly so yesterday I made this, below.

Nea + Maramiki = Perfect match! :)

Hooked

That’s it! I’m hooked on hooks!

I was looking for some hooks to hang my necklaces (some of mine as the jewelry I buy (yes, yes I do!)), and wowsa, I made some wonderful discoveries along the way to the perfect hook for my needs!

Mine turned out to be what I will probably call my “Jewelry Central”, and it’s from RusticsReborn (seen above). It’s made from recycled barn wood and more recycled parts. It has a shelf, on which I’m hoping to place my ring tree and my earring display, and then I’ll stack up my necklaces on the awesome vintage crystal door knobs and all. I’m in love with it!! Doug also very nicely agreed to ship international upon my request.

I have to admit it was hard to choose with all these other finds I discovered (below)!
