Like to doodle? Well, here’s Boarding School, a shop where you’ll find what you need.
Made from recycled or reclaimed wood, these sturdy books (also available as moleskine covers) are definitely an aesthetic statement, as well as a practical purchase! Have them size customized to your heart’s desires, too. :)
Plus, hellooooo perfect logo and branding.

Kara loves to paint. She puts her passion to great work and sells pretty much only gorgeous originals (!), and affordable too, in her shop Geometric Ink!
Watercolors are used in geometric or nature inspired lovely art, which makes them all pretty much irresistible.
I’ll take a dozen.

Talk about patience! Nathalie Boutté (France) clearly loves her media, paper, for doing her art pieces out of tiny pieces of them.
Using all kinds of papers (journal, colorful or blank, transparent) she portraits subjects or shapes in a unique and oh-so-impressive way. Check it out! :)

Inkkit is a little shop, full of little items, but that makes you wanna buy a lot.
Most of the shop is filled with packaging supplies, from sequin ribbon to envelopes and stickers. And also cutesy items, like gold tip twig pencils (How CUTE.) and tiny painted rocks. Plus, pictures are gorgeous, I can’t even stop looking around!
Plan on restraining yourself, or be prepared to splurge! lol :)

Here we go: my soft spot for embroidery shows up again!
Izziyana Suhaimi does it all. She draws and paints aquarelle, and then she stitches on it all. What a beautiful combination of textuxes! I especially like the “collar” pieces in the Friends To Keep You Warm series! Just stunning!

Almanac industries plays with leather and paper, screen-printing and letterpress and sewing… They make card cases, notebooks, letter notebooks, guestbooks, fabric cases, and wise words in lettering awesomeness.
Can’t wait to see what they come up with next! :)

2012 is a wedding year for my family! In January, my brother got married. And later this year I have 2 others… Considering I had never went to a wedding in my family EVER (I don’t think my parent’s wedding, when I was 1yo, counts. lol), woah! Yes, this single gal can take it. lol!
I find wedding invitations (when done right, and with a little modern twist) to be a great graphic design treat for the eyes! A little bit like company stationaries, which I used to love doing as a graphic designer, in that other life o’ mine.
Anyway, here’s a few handmade invites I found that I really love! Maybe it’ll be useful for some of you lovebirds. :)
